Tommy Joyner

Tommy  Joyner

Tommy Joyner founder, engineer founded MilkBoy in 1994 as a rough-and-tumble punk and hip-hop recording studio in North Philadelphia. As head of MilkBoy's engineers, Joyner is now responsible for production on over 100 records and demos each year, has added numerous composition jobs for film and television and continues to perform as a drummer and side-musician both live and in the studio. He has played drums in Digable Planets and recorded Dave Matthews.

Jamie Lokoff

Jamie  Lokoff

Jamie Lokoff principle owner, composer grew up on the Main Line and got his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre from the University of Miami 1987. He moved to New York to pursue an acting career, but developed a musical career instead. As a writer and composer, Lokoff wrote jingles, produced bands and composed music for off-Broadway theater, television radio and film. Lokoff composed the theme cue for Discovery HD Theatre and wrote the score boxer Bobby Czyz's biopic "Shadowboxer."

Patti Wilson

Patti  Wilson

Patti Wilson controller attended Ithaca College's Park School of Communications where she studied as a Television and Radio major. Graduating in 2003, Patti started interning at MilkBoy in the fall of that year, wanting to work at a local studio with local musicians. She originally started as an engineering assistant, but later took up her role on the business end of the studio, working as "the glue that holds MilkBoy Together". Patti regularly plays Quizzo at John Henry's pub in Ardmore. She also practices martial arts, as well as writing (which is sometimes done while riding SEPTA)

Cody Cichowski

Cody Cichowski

Cody Cichowski engineer grew up in Maine, but studied for an Associates Degree in Recording Arts from FullSail Real World Education in Orlando. He has worked at MilkBoy for 7 years and risen from an intern to become a senior engineer. This budding film composer is also a first-call SFX creator and surround mix engineer for our many film clients. Cody is a multi-instrumentalist, an expert foley walker and a talented electronics tinkerer. He continues his quest to build the best possible computer out of trashed components.

Joe Gallagher

Joe  Gallagher

Joe Logic producer/engineer was born and raised in Philadelphia and started DJing when he was 17, during his freshman year of College at Temple. During his junior year, Joe started interning at MilkBoy Recording bringing his hip-hop background to the studio. Joe is an achieved hip-hop producer and the founder of We Run Philly; a project designed to generate awareness for "Students Run Philly Style".

Joel Metzler

Joel  Metzler

Joel Metzler engineer has been with MilkBoy Recording since June of 2006. After spending a year interning at MilkBoy and learning the ropes, Joel was brought on as one of the house engineers. In addition to session work at the studio, Joel runs sound for shows at MilkBoy Coffee. One of Joel's recent projects was the MilkBoy Live Vol. 1 album, engineering and mixing the majority of the record. Joel has also spent time traveling the country as the stage manager for Sharon Little on the Robert Plant and Alison Krauss tour.

Tim Sonnefeld

Tim  Sonnefeld

Tim Sonnefeld producer/engineer is a University of the Arts in Philadelphia grad, studying performance for upright bass and guitar. Before working at MilkBoy he toured with his band Town Hall and conducted freelance production at various studios in the area. Tim is our staff arranger and produces albums from a musician's perspective. When Tim is not working at MilkBoy he is still fully immersed in musical projects whether by himself, with his fiance', or with his band Gang.

Karl Peterson

Karl Peterson
